Palestine Solidarity Campaign-backed events & protests
The horrific genocide in Gaza, massively worsened by the Israeli government’s refusal to allow in humanitarian aid, continues to bring hundreds of thousands out on to the streets. Mobilising our members to march with our union banners on the big national demonstrations is fantastically important, and the next one is on Saturday 21 June, so put the date in your diary and start organising for a delegation from your workplace now.
However, the Labour government is still helping Israel bomb Gaza, with the manufacture and sale of parts of the F-35 bombers. Israel uses these planes to drop 2,000 pound bombs on Gaza.
That’s why the Palestine Solidarity Campaign has called for mass protests at three of the factories where F-35 parts are made on 17 June. Transport is being organised, and having delegations with their union banners join the protests is important. Can you get support in your branch to join the protest nearest to where you are?
