New pay loss calculator for members

The Tory-enabled cost of living crisis is affecting us all and we understand the financial difficulties and hardship our members are facing. The current situation coupled with repeated below-inflation pay awards across multiple UNISON Service Groups have squeezed the pockets of members further than ever before.

To demonstrate the negative effect these pay awards have on your annual salary, we have created a pay loss calculator which is free to use and can be found here: timeforrealchange.uk/pay-loss-calculator

The calculator takes your current annual salary and the pay award for your specific area (or a custom amount) as inputs and it will calculate your new annual salary with the chosen pay award applied, the salary required to match the current rate of inflation and your loss of annual salary in real terms. Please note that none of the information you enter into the calculator is stored on our site.
