UNISON’s National Executive Council (NEC) is the governing body of the union which is elected by its 1.3 million members to be its ruling council. All NEC seats are up for election in 2025.

The members’ ballot will be open from April 21st.

56 candidates are standing in solidarity with the Time for Real Change majority on the current NEC.
